The one-day field trip to Shirgah, held on May 24, 2025, was carried out with a group of graduate students in Urban Planning. The trip was organized as part of the Regional Planning Workshop 2, with the aim of familiarizing students with the railway route and the attractions surrounding it. The destination was Shirgah, located in Mazandaran Province.
The topics addressed in the workshop were explored through field observation and explanations provided by Dr. kheyroddin, the course instructor. These included natural and tourism potentials, the characteristics of the railway line, and the potential for revitalizing railway tourism. Through this field experience, the workshop topics were transformed into direct observation, discussion, and collective reflection among the group members.
